Chief Financial Officer

Kevin Shevlin joined DGC Contracting in 2002 and serves as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. Since joining the organization, he has built a highly effective accounting team known for its attention to detail, efficiency, and strong service focus, ensuring seamless interaction with clients, subcontractors, and business partners.

With extensive expertise in financial reporting, tax strategy, and the unique complexities of construction accounting, Kevin has been instrumental in guiding DGC through many years of sustained growth and operational success.

Prior to joining DGC, Kevin worked at Anchin, Block & Anchin, LLP in New York City, where he provided audit and tax services across a wide range of industries. It was during this time that he developed a specialization in construction accounting and gained deep insight into the challenges faced by mid-sized privately held companies.

Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill, New York. He is a member of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) and previously served as Treasurer of its New York City chapter.

He is also actively involved in charitable and civic organizations, including serving on the Boards of the Mount Vernon Police Foundation and the Fulfilling a Dream Fund.
