Marlon Perry is a seasoned construction professional with more than 26 years of experience leading estimating and preconstruction efforts across a wide range of general construction projects. Since joining DGC Capital in 2012, Marlon has advanced to Chief Estimator, where he oversees all aspects of bidding, cost planning, and procurement strategy.
Marlon has extensive experience managing competitive bid processes for complex general construction projects, consistently delivering well-coordinated, comprehensive estimates across multiple trades. His expertise includes developing detailed hard-bid proposals, analyzing subcontractor coverage, identifying scope gaps, and ensuring alignment between design intent and constructability.
In addition to hard bids, Marlon plays a critical role in developing conceptual and early-stage budgets, often working from limited design information to establish reliable cost benchmarks and guide project feasibility. His ability to translate incomplete documents into actionable cost models supports informed decision-making and positions DGC Capital for success in negotiated work and early contractor involvement opportunities.
Recognized for his disciplined approach, attention to detail, and strong leadership, Marlon has been instrumental in supporting the company’s growth and profitability. He leads the estimating team in producing accurate, competitive, and strategically structured proposals that mitigate risk and maximize project value.
Marlon holds a bachelor’s degrees in Civil Engineering and remains actively engaged in staying current with industry standards, market conditions, and best practices in preconstruction.
Over the course of his career, he has contributed to a wide range of complex projects, including electrical infrastructure upgrades, underground utility installations, large-scale supermarket buildouts and renovations, and major retail and commercial developments.
